Coaching and Educational Disclaimer
The Budesa Method provides educational and coaching-oriented support. It helps people understand social, cultural, relational, and institutional forces that may shape their lives, choices, relationships, work, identity, stress, and behavior patterns.
The Budesa Method is not psychotherapy, psychiatric care, psychological treatment, medical care, addiction treatment, detoxification, diagnosis, crisis intervention, or medical advice. Participation does not create a therapist-patient, doctor-patient, psychologist-patient, counselor-client, or clinical relationship.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, psychiatric emergency, suicidal thoughts, risk of harm to yourself or others, withdrawal symptoms, severe substance-use crisis, or any urgent safety concern, contact emergency services, a crisis hotline, a licensed mental-health professional, or an appropriate medical provider.
Terms of Use
By using this website, downloading materials, joining The Budesa Salon, or booking a private session, you agree to use The Budesa Method services responsibly and for educational/coaching purposes only.
You are responsible for your own decisions, actions, health care choices, relationships, and life circumstances. The Budesa Method may offer reflection, education, language, frameworks, and coaching support, but it cannot guarantee any particular result.
Website content, including text, frameworks, worksheets, names, concepts, and downloadable materials, is provided for personal use only unless written permission is given.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Private sessions are scheduled for 45 minutes. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours before your appointment time. Sessions canceled with at least 24 hours' notice may be rescheduled or refunded.
Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may not be refundable, except in unusual circumstances at our discretion. If Joan needs to cancel or reschedule a session, you will be offered a new time or a refund.
The Budesa Salon is a monthly membership billed in advance unless otherwise stated. You may cancel future billing before the next billing date. Partial-month refunds are not guaranteed unless required by law or approved at our discretion.
Community Guidelines for The Budesa Salon
The Budesa Salon is intended to be a respectful educational group space. Participants are expected to speak thoughtfully, respect confidentiality, and avoid attacking, shaming, harassing, or diagnosing others.
The Salon is not group therapy, clinical treatment, crisis support, or medical care. Joan may remove a participant if their behavior is disruptive, unsafe, disrespectful, or inconsistent with the purpose of the group.
Booking and payment
Private: $99 / 45 minutes. Budesa Salon: $99/month. Booking starts with an email inquiry. Availability, payment arrangements and the Salon start date are confirmed directly with Joan before enrollment. This website does not collect payments.
